An animated music video (AMV) using footage from the anime, Given (2019)
All of this was completed within After Effects. The bulk of this project was the null layers
I use to create the smooth transitions between each clip, which animated the scale and position properties.
And as you may have noticed, there is a VHS filter, which was made using the Universal 2.0 plugin.
The typography was fairly simple, but the "somebody" at (0:18) required expressions on the position property
and the "hard" at (0:20) was actually separate layers for each letter for better control. The little stars were made inside After Effects as well, but I considered using Illustrator in case After Effects' tools didn't
produce the results I wanted.
